Bruce James Bowman

January 12, 1961 ~ October 5, 2026

Lion Bruce was an active and valuable member of our club, joining October 3, 2019. He was sponsored by Lion Mark Albright and was serving as a board member of the Westfield Lions Foundation.

Bruce was very influential in setting up the Westfield Lions Foundation and served as Vice President since its 2024 inception. Bruce secured copyrights for the Lions Poker for Sight® tournament and the Westfield Lions Foundation logo.

His work at the Club’s major fundraising events, including poker tournaments, fish fries, and golf outings, helped make them extremely successful. He could always be counted on to serve those in need. 

His quick wit and wry sense of humor made him a joy to be around. He will truly be missed by our club.

We provide services to the Vision Impaired, help support the general health and welfare of the Hamilton County citizens through charitable activities and support of the Westfield Lions Club operations.
